Aimori Eco Products President Yukio Komatsu:

Here I am pictured with President Babka of Ecotec. More than 20 years ago Ecotec realized the imortance of environmental protection. They began to focus on creating construction materials that allow a balance between people and nature. They began researching and develping environmentally friendly healthy interior paints, varnishes and plasters. In January of 2007 Aimori and Ecotec began a contract to work together as partners in developing Eco materials that develop both to people's living environment and the global environment as a whole. Our mission is to protect our customers' health and safety by making good products.

Please allow me to tell a little about myself.

In 1982 I began touring the country as a member of the debut Folk group Tefuukin (Click on the link to look at the Japanese Website http://www.tefuukin.net).
At that time there were a lot of very talented artists who originated in Hokkaido, such as Chiharu Matsuyama, Miyuki Nakajima, Fukinotou and Anzenchitai. Many people were attracted to the songs and message of these artists from Japan's north country with it's wide expanses of nature.

After I graduated from university at the age of 23 I was very fortunate to experience the world of music and to spend time in that environment. It was with great dissapointment that I gave up that lifestyle and returned to my hometown in Hokkaido. That was the first big defeat of my life. But I clearly remember vowing to one day return.

So I began again with a new dream, that of succeeding in the construction industry. (リプランの記事へ)

25 years later I am proud to introduce from Hokkaido to Japan and to the world, our Scallop Shell Plaster. We are transforming what was once considered a waste byproduct of the scallop farming industry into a pure white treasure. We want to create a lasting standard for the quality of life and happiness of our customers. It is with the same passion and energy I felt in my youth for music that I and the staff of Aimori work daily to bring these products to you. (住むの記事へ)
